Spread the Word to End the Word on March 3, 2010.
The goal of Spread the Word to End the Word is to get people to stop and think about their hurtful and
disparaging use of the word "retard(ed)" and pledge to stop using it.

MARINE MARATHON A SUCCESS
In only its second year as an official event, Push America Challenge: Marine Corps Marathon was a huge success,
laying a foundation for an annual success for years to come. On October 25, 30 Push America supporters descended
on the nation's capital to run the Marine Corps Marathon and 10k.

WHEELS IN THEIR SHOES
During the last week of September, the brothers of Alpha Kappa (University of Michigan) held a disability awareness event on campus in Ann Arbor,
Michigan. The brothers called the event "Wheels in Their Shoes" and it consisted of the chapter completing a 5k course around campus using wheelchairs.
