After months of anticipation, the entire team finally met each other this afternoon. We gathered at the Quality Inn in Seattle provided by Ms. Heather Patrick, WA for a welcome session and introductions. After meeting the team we departed for a sponsored dinner at the Alpha Delta chapter at the University of Washington. The food was delicious and after the meal we had our first team ritual.

 

 

It was apparent the team had already started to bond and we had solid group of guys. After the Alpha Delta house, we left for lodging and had a circle up to discuss tomorrow’s events. Most of the guys were exhausted from flights and traveling and fell asleep. Others assembled their bikes or went out to explore Seattle. After months of hard work and planning we had finally begun our journey. I can’t believe what an amazing group of guys we have for the Trans America route. This is surely going to be a memorable summer.
