Well it is officially day 2 of the Journey. We had a large breakfast in the Quality Inn and Suites and then walked over to the biggest REI store that any of us had ever seen. After an extensive and comprehensive rundown of the policies and procedures of the trip we headed back to the hotel to get ready for our first friendship visit. The event was at Gas Works park on the North side of
Alpha Delta -
Alpha Delta - University of Washington. After the event, we took a large group photo in front of the lake and headed back to lodging to practice the infamous KOB (kids on the block) puppet show. A few guys surprised us and stepped up to the challenge of trying to manipulate small girls voices in order to play their puppets characters properly. It was hilarious. What a great second day.
